The Skin Classic direct high frequency technology is an affordable non-laser treatment for minor skin irregularities such as telangiectasis (broken capillaries), cherry angiomas, keratosis, fibromas, skin tags, hyperpigmentation, milia, sebaceous hyperplasia, and acne. The Skin Classic precisely treats and/or removes each irregularity permanently, or semi-permanently, without the use of lasers, cutting, burning, or freezing which can effect areas of the skin not being treated. What will my skin look like post treatment?

The area treated may appear erythmic (red) with some inflammation. The redness should reduce within a few hours. The lighter the skin tone, the longer it may take for the redness to subside. There may be some scabbing depending on the irregularity and the area of the body being treated. 

What happens if the treated skin irregularity is still present 30 days later?

Some areas may need more than one treatment.

Why can’t you treat my broken capillaries on my legs?

Lower extremities are not recommended for treatment using the skin classic. Saline injections and laser therapy are the recommended treatment for these areas.

What do I do if it's taking longer than expected to heal?

Be patient continue to use the recommended aftercare. Don't pick or touch the treated area and allow the scab to fall off naturally. It's nature's Band-Aid! 

Is it safe to treat pigmented lesions/age spots?

I strongly encourage you have your doctor examine any spot that is questionable or suspicious.  We do not diagnose and will not treat any lesion that we feel is not safe to do so.

How does it feel?

 Clients describe their pain level as a 1-3 on a scale of 1-10 and liken the sensation to a very quick stinging which dissipates quickly when the probe is lifted - the probe never pierces the skin.

 The skin classic uses high frequency technology to thermally vaporize these tiny capillaries with minimal impact to the client usually in one treatment, however, in the case of many capillaries the client may require a second treatment no sooner than 30 days 

(the skin healing cycle).

Following the procedure it is recommended that you use a gentle cleaner twice a day, in addition to moisturizer and sunblock for positive healing. 

No harsh products should be used until the skin is smooth and free of redness, clients will develop a crust, reddened area or even a furrow like track within 24-36 hours. 

The crust or erythemic areas should shed within 7-14 days. Complete healing may take 30 days or longer. 

Concealer/makeup that is applied with a clean applicator can be applied to the affected area 24 hours post treatment. 

 The Skin Classic uses a small probe on a low setting to dehydrate and evaporate the blood that fills the cherry angioma until it is no longer visible, or barely visible. In the case of a large or very thick cherry angioma, it may take more than one treatment. You must wait 30 days (the complete healing cycle) to be retreated.

 The Skin Classic can remove a seborrheic keratosis easily and without bleeding, unlike other removal methods available. The Skin Classic vaporizes the tissue without damaging the surrounding tissue for a quicker, easier healing process with amazing results. 

After being treated with the Skin Classic, the keratoses will shed within a week on it's own. Be sure not to pick at it! The tissue will heal within 28-30 days. The darker the clients skin tone, the longer it may take to totally remelanize. Following the treatment, crusts may appear within 24-36 hours. Avoid any irritants or harsh products until the 30 day healing cycle is complete and always apply moisturizer and sunscreen. Avoid direct sunlight.
